St. Christopher’s by-the-Sea welcomes all who seek spiritual growth, no matter where they may be in their journey toward God.

The Holy Spirit moves sometimes in dynamic, sometimes in quiet and  mysterious ways, opening doors along our path throughout life. While some Christians experience conversion such as the one described by the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus,  many do not. For many people, faith emerges slowly, in small ways as they experience the fellowship of a loving faith community and see the impact of that faith in their own life and in the lives of others.

We welcome you to this faith community and this website. You will find here expression of the vibrancy of our faith in mission and ministry.

Ongoing Events
Taizé service resumes in September
The multi-denominational Taizé Community, which was founded in 1940, is world renowned for its message of trust, peace, and reconciliation. Taizé songs, with their distinctive style; have become popular as a source of meditation and praise even far beyond the ever growing circle of those who know Taizé in France personally. Our Taizé services are held the first Sunday of the month beginning at 7 p.m. It is deeply moving and not to be missed if you are in town.

First Friday’s are always Rewarding
Our Each First Friday of the month members and friends of St. Christopher’s go to the Homeless Assistance Center (HAC for short) in Miami where they cook and serve dinner. The dinner turnout ranges between 300 and 400 who are residents in the HAC. The great thing about this outreach ministry is that it ministers to entire families!
At right is a photo of the First Friday volunteers from May 1st - the look of happy faces. The next First Friday is September 3rd we will have our next First Friday. Call the church office for signup and more information. Those who want a ride, meet at the East parking lot at 4:45 pm.
